About the role

Execute comprehensive reviews of clinical records to ensure the precise data entry of billable services and diagnostic codes into the practice management system. This role serves as a vital link between clinical services and revenue cycle management, optimizing reimbursement cycles and mitigating administrative claim rejections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research to gather all data required for the completion of billing workflows.
• Acquire charge data from medical providers while validating ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes alongside appropriate modifier application.
• Execute the entry of insurance claims in strict alignment with program-specific policies.
• Manage and preserve digital billing documentation and records.
• Oversee the scanning, indexing, and routing of necessary paperwork.
• Uphold full compliance with HIPAA standards and data privacy regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or healthcare administration.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment.
• Certified Medical Billing and Coding professional (preferred).
• Strong background in a medical office environment (preferred).
• Proven organizational capacities alongside exceptional customer service abilities.
