Responsibilities
- Affirms pastoral care to patients, families, and staff.
- Provides consultation on ethical decision-making and values.
- Makes appropriate referrals for additional support.
- Assists in planning, organizing, evaluating, and implementing spiritual programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma equivalency.
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Theology, Spirituality, Social Work, Divinity, Philosophy, Servant Leadership, Pastoral Studies, Human Behavior, or a related field.
- One unit of clinical pastoral education accredited by the ACPE.
- Two units of clinical pastoral education accredited by the ACPE preferred.
- Two years of healthcare experience preferred.
