Chaplain Student

Job Description

• Provides spiritual care to patients and families, including assessment and documentation in the patient's medical record.
• Fulfills the ACPE CPE program requirements, including, but not limited to, those outlined in the CPE Handbook and the appropriate ACPE CPE Outcomes.
• Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and coordinates spiritual care with other members of the healthcare team.
• Provides response to emergency spiritual care needs as an on-call chaplain.
• Provides emotional and spiritual support to hospital employees.
• Complies with departmental policies, procedures, and record keeping.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Applicant must be accepted in the Sutter ACPE CPE program.
• Applicant must maintain concurrent enrollment with ACPE as a CPE Student.

Requirements

• As Needed, Rotating Weekends.
