Responsibilities
- Serve as a bridge between employees and their faith, promoting a sense of purpose and mission.
- Regularly visit company sites to build trust and friendships, addressing personal and professional concerns.
- Provide confidential pastoral counseling and referrals for a wide range of issues, including health crises, family matters, and financial difficulties.
- Assist with funeral arrangements and offer support during bereavement periods.
- Offer post-termination care to help employees adjust to new employment opportunities.
- Facilitate or participate in spiritual enrichment activities, ensuring they align with the company's values.
- Represent the company to clients and customers, especially in times of crisis or celebration.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director of Operations to fulfill additional requests from executive leadership.
Requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in an interfaith context.
- Highly skilled in listening and interacting with clients, employees, and their families.
- Effective in delivering community presentations and managing sensitive situations.
- Strong moral and ethical foundation, with a commitment to Christian values and MCHAP's mission.
- Proficient in the Bible and its application, with a demonstrated ability to integrate Christian principles into daily work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate diplomatically and courteously with diverse groups.
- Capable of maintaining emotional stability and handling stressful situations.
- Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making, particularly in dealing with sensitive issues.
- Proficient in using technology, including Google Suites, Microsoft Office, and web-based software applications.
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet state insurance requirements.

Schedule
