Our workplace chaplains build caring relationships with employees and families by offering emotional support, spiritual care, crisis response, encouragement, and compassionate presence during life’s most challenging moments. Position Summary Corporate Chaplains of America is seeking a mission-driven Workplace Chaplain to provide confidential employee care, spiritual support, pastoral care, and crisis response services within assigned businesses and organizations. This role is ideal for individuals with a servant-leadership mindset who are passionate about relational ministry outside traditional church walls. Chaplains serve employees of all backgrounds through caring relationships, emotional support, encouragement, prayer, crisis care, and ongoing workplace presence. Responsibilities Promote a missionary mindset by building caring relationships with assigned employees and workplace leadersProvide regular onsite workplace chaplain care and relationship-based ministry within assigned businessesProvide confidential emotional and spiritual support to employees and their family membersOffer prayer, encouragement, practical care, and compassionate presence when welcomedRespond to crises, hospitalizations, grief situations, and family emergenciesBuild and maintain strong two-way communication and trust with employees, company leadership, and CCA leadershipFollow the CCA Team Member Handbook and organizational training materialsDemonstrate professionalism, compassion, humility, and servant leadership in all interactionsMaintain accurate communication and timely follow-up with employees and workplace contactsDisplay a positive team-player attitude with fellow chaplains, managers, and senior leadershipComply with requests and direction from senior CCA leadership To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5-7 years of full-time secular workplace experience (Church-only experience does not satisfy this requirement. A business degree may reduce the required years of experience.)Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies or related ministry field from an accredited college or universityStrong Christian faith and commitment to servant leadershipAbility to build trust and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively within industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, office, and workplace environmentsAbility to respond effectively to sensitive employee situations and crisesProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet platforms, and mobile communication toolsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Master of Divinity (MDiv) or advanced ministry degreeDenominational ordinationPrevious ministry, chaplaincy, pastoral care, counseling, social work, employee assistance, caregiving, or ministry leadership experience preferredExperience supporting individuals during crisis situations, grief, or major life challenges Physical Demands & Work Environment Frequent local travel requiredAbility to visit various workplace environments regularlyAbility to respond to urgent employee care needs as requiredCombination of office, industrial, and field-based work environments
