About the role

The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility in which they serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and competent spiritual care ministry.
• Serve the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of patients, families, and staff in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Implement the mission, values, policies, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry, or relevant religious studies accepted in chaplaincy board certifying organizations, or equivalent education/experience.
• Four units of clinical pastoral education (CPE).
• National Chaplain Certification within 3 years of hire.

Pay

Pay range: $26.83 - $41.04 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Full time, Day shift.
