Chapel Kids Wednesday Night Coordinator 2027

Responsibilities

• Coverage of Wednesday night kindergarten-fourth grade Chapel Kids ministry
• Recruitment, training, scheduling, and supporting teachers, teacher assistants, and other Serve Team volunteers
• Maintaining volunteer schedules and communicating changes
• Addressing staffing needs and ensuring volunteers are cleared to serve
• Preparing and distributing curriculum and materials
• Maintaining supplies and submitting purchase requests
• Communicating with parents about program information
• Escalating significant concerns to the Associate Director
• Supporting program development and improvements
• Attending Chapel Kids leader meetings and meeting with the Associate Director
• Participating in VBS leadership and serving in assigned areas

Qualifications

• Growing believer in Jesus Christ in agreement with The Bible Chapel's doctrine and ministry philosophy
• Experience working with elementary-age children in a church, school, camp, childcare, or similar ministry setting
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, coordinate, encourage, and lead volunteers
• Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively under ministry leadership and exercise sound judgment
• Comfort using or willingness to learn Planning Center Online (PCO) and other ministry communication tools

Pay

Stipend Tier 2 (10 - 14.5 hours per week)
