Channel Sales Representative

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor branch managers, product specialists, and sales representatives.
• Partner with distributor sales teams on customer visits, prospecting activities, and business development initiatives to generate new opportunities.
• Deliver engaging product training and educational presentations to distributor partners to increase product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to expand market share by developing new customer relationships and strengthening existing distribution partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to help refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate pipeline activity, sales forecasts, and customer information within CRM systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support successful execution of sales initiatives and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in channel sales, distribution sales, account management, business development, territory sales, or other customer-facing sales roles.
• Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers, retail partners, consumer products, building products, industrial products, or related industries is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience presenting products, conducting sales training, or supporting partner enablement initiatives.
• Ability to identify new business opportunities and help grow existing customer and partner relationships.
• Comfortable managing sales activity, forecasting, and CRM documentation.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude, coachability, adaptability, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Compensation

This permanent position offers a base salary of $85,000-$120,000+, depending on experience plus commission. The role also includes full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and additional standard benefits.
