About the role

Tekmetric is seeking a strategic Channel Partner Manager to work with established players in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in partner sales, a passion for the automotive service industry, and a creative approach to developing and executing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage and nurture partnerships to enhance the success of both Tekmetric and its partners
  • Evaluate strategic and economic impacts of potential opportunities and prioritize efforts accordingly
  • Oversee all aspects of deal execution, including deal structuring, negotiation, and legal contracting
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as marketing, sales, and product teams
  • Build and maintain key relationships with C-level executives and orchestrate appropriate executive touchpoints
  • Contribute to shaping Tekmetric's platform partnership strategy and building scalable engagement models

Requirements

  • A consistent track record as a top-performing partner sales professional
  • 2+ years of partner sales experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive service industry preferred
  • An analytical ability to drive strong commercial outcomes for both Tekmetric and partners
  • A high level of energy, creativity, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and professionalism
  • A strong aptitude for building rapport with prospects
  • A self-starter attitude with solid organizational, logistical, and planning skills
  • Ability and flexibility to travel frequently
  • Previous SaaS experience preferred
  • Previous experience successfully presenting to smaller audiences preferred

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience preferred

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
