About the role
We're seeking a Partner Manager to oversee the activation, enablement, and expansion of strategic partners for Basis. Reporting to the Channel Sales Leader, this role will be the operational backbone of our Channel Partnerships program.
Responsibilities
- Run joint business planning, account mapping, and expansion conversations for every new partner we sign, enabling partners through their first client win and beyond
- Deliver trainings, certifications, and ongoing partner enablement to ensure partners are equipped and trained to successfully sell and deploy Basis
- Own the partner relationship from onboarding through ongoing expansion
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for Practice leaders and Consulting teams and establish trust quickly to continuously grow the relationship
- Run the partner operating cadence, monitoring success metrics ensuring partners are aligned to mutual goals
- Capture opportunities for field events, co-branded webinars, and other growth-oriented activities, in collaboration with Sales and Marketing
- Collect feedback from live engagements on new use cases and what's missing to bring insights to Product, Sales, Implementation, and Marketing
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in Technology Consulting, Partnerships, or Program Management at a B2B SaaS or AI company where channel partnerships materially shaped revenue
- Experience partnering with professional services firms, large accounting firms, SIs, or managed service providers
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to drive multiple engagements in parallel through different stages without dropping balls
- Ability to work in office in Manhattan 5 days per week
Qualifications
- Strong relationships within the enterprise CPA firm ecosystem (Big Four, top 25 firms) or similar professional services networks
- Background in accounting, fintech, or professional services software
- Prior experience as an early channel seller or go-to-market hire at a startup
