About the role

The Channel Marketing Specialist at Trex is responsible for executing regional marketing initiatives in collaboration with regional sales teams and channel partners. This role supports key account development, local market activation, and in-store execution while ensuring alignment to corporate brand standards and marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
  • Regional & Account Marketing Execution:
    • Support regional sales teams on strategic key account plans by executing agreed-upon marketing tactics.
    • Advise channel partners on co-op marketing investments, ensuring compliance with program guidelines.
    • Coordinate and execute local events, promotions, and trade shows.
    • Support both traditional and digital local marketing initiatives, including print, radio, outdoor, paid search, and social.
    • Aid accounts with local online visibility (store listings, ratings, reviews, and basic local SEO).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing to activate national programs locally.
    • Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of regional marketing initiatives.
    • Track executional details, timelines, and budgets for assigned programs.
    • Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform future marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in field, channel, or regional marketing.
  • Strong execution, organization, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with sales teams and external partners preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time or more, typically by car, with some overnight travel.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with help to support display execution.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.

Pay

Base Salary Range: $65,000 to $80,000 annually. The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
