About the Role

The Channel Marketing Specialist is part of the North American Marketing Department and plays a crucial role in the execution of channel marketing strategies and campaigns for a specific brand. This position requires a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who can manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of brand marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Create and manage content for various marketing channels including: social media, e-mail marketing, websites, print materials, telemarketing, webinars, and more.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of channel shows and events.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and contests, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Maintain and update the brand's presence on digital platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and visuals.
  • Collaborate with the creative design team to develop engaging and effective marketing materials.
  • Assist in managing relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor marketing budgets and expenses, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cash flow.
  • Stay current with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, product marketing, or related role.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, social media, content creation, demand generation, and lead generation strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of channel or distribution models.
  • Knowledge of POS, AIDC, Networking, or edge technologies.
  • Experience working with Value-Added Resellers, Independent Software Vendors, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of Hubspot, Click-up, Canva, Oracle, Power BI.
  • Comprehension of accounting principles for budgets, MDF, or Co-op marketing funds.

  • Interpersonal Skills & Communication: Comfortable working with customers directly and corresponding through multiple modes of communication including virtual, phone, e-mail, and in-person. Can work independently on projects and within a team environment.
  • Presentation: Ability to stand up in front of a group of people, and share information and insights about the business.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI: Has an intermediate knowledge of Excel including how to do vlookups, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Has intermediate knowledge of Word and can build presentations in PowerPoint.

Schedule & Travel

  • Must be able to work a hybrid model reporting into the office 2 consistent days per week to collaborate with the team and 3 days from home office. Standard business hours Mon-Fri. (Onboarding and training will require more days in office)
  • Travel is 5-10%. Passport required for occasional travel out of country to events.
