The Role, At a Glance

The Change Analyst is responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, and performance of change requests, change orders, and new product introductions (NPI). They work to continuously refine these processes to improve performance. They assist Manufacturing Engineering with analysis of key performance indicators for major changes to production.

How You'll Contribute

  • Implement changes (change requests, change orders, and NPI) accurately and on-time, and verify deliverables from all areas and departments.
  • Assure changes are complete, accurate, and not impactful to production.
  • Liaise for data input of production control, inventory control, and product information related to engineering change order (ECO) and NPI activities.
  • Maintain pace of changes to meet implementation dates and escalate when necessary.
  • Measure, maintain, and improve change order and NPI processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for change order and NPI failures.
  • Document and train employees on ECO and NPI processes.
  • Provide feedback to PLM and ERP analysts and developers with regard to additional functionality.
  • Facilitate ECO meetings to update stakeholders on pending changes, change aging reports, process changes, and other relevant info.
  • Identify opportunities and lead manufacturing process improvements.
  • Provide metrics and analysis related to continuous improvement projects in production.
  • Other duties as assigned.

A Successful Candidate Should Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to engineering or manufacturing, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to create and interpret process flow diagrams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of ECO and NPI processes, ERP and PLM systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint).
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization and navigate challenging situations using appropriate and professional methods.
  • Able to multi-task and be flexible in a dynamic work environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • May be required to alternate schedules to meet production goals.
  • Training in and experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Able to perform SIPOC (Suppliers, Input, Processes, Outputs, and Customers) analysis.

Work Environment

  • This is an onsite position based in Tigard, OR.
  • Routine use of standard office equipment.
  • Stand or sit for long periods.
  • Ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required in designated areas.
