About the role

As a Resident Wellness Associate/Caregiver, you will provide compassionate care and support to residents, assisting with daily activities and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications and monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring resident safety at all times.
• Document resident care and report any changes in condition to the nursing team.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Encourage and assist residents with social and recreational activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medication Technician certification preferred.
• Previous experience in caregiving, nursing assistance, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift and move residents with assistance as needed.
