Lead Cashier (Part-time Seasonal) @ Hudson Yards

Responsibilities

• Master the Register System: Handle all transactions with confidence and accuracy.
• Manage Special Transactions: Skillfully process returns, price overrides, and other unique scenarios.
• Open and Close Registers: Ensure accurate cash flow and adhere to security procedures.

Requirements

• Prior retail, cash-handling, and customer service experience.
• Flexible schedule: Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Naturally enjoy interacting with guests of all ages.
• Proactive engagement: Ability to intercept, engage, and demonstrate products effectively.
• Welcoming, positive, and friendly attitude towards customers, team members, and venue staff.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Physical Requirements

• Active Work: Frequently stand, walk, and use hands to handle merchandise.
• Mobility: Occasionally reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Lifting Ability: Comfortably lift and move items up to 15 pounds.
