About the role

The successful candidate will lead the Department of Radiology and serve as the Physician Executive for Enterprise Imaging Services at ChristianaCare, a large health system in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. They will be responsible for guiding clinical excellence, innovation, and the development of future radiology leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for all clinical, professional, and administrative functions of the department.
  • Advance organizational goals for clinical excellence, access, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and support graduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, including the SVP of Cancer & Imaging Services, to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee and optimize an advanced clinical imaging data infrastructure to support outcomes, research, and performance improvement.
  • Champion resource stewardship, ensuring effective utilization of imaging services across the system.
  • Partner with administrative leaders on capital planning and operating budgets.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and belonging across multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • MD or DO required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Board Certification in Radiology or a Radiology subspecialty.
  • Proven success in physician leadership, department management, and strategic execution.
  • Experience leading within complex health systems or academic environments.
  • A leader who balances data-driven decision-making with people-centered leadership.
