About the role
Join a respected team delivering personalized, high-quality care to residents. This is a dedicated CFY position for new graduates pursuing ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders under mentor supervision.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans as a CFY SLP, with ongoing feedback and guidance.
- Set clear goals, educate patients on expectations, and build understanding of therapy.
- Counsel patients and families while maintaining precise documentation for all visits, with mentor review to support your CFY requirements.
- Gain valuable exposure to FEES, standardized assessments, and advanced tools to enhance your clinical skills and competency.
Requirements
Must be a new graduate pursuing ASHA CCC-SLP certification. Direct access to FEES and standardized assessments provided.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current ASHA certification or eligibility to sit for the exam.
- Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using FEES and standardized assessment tools.
