CFP Coach

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CFP Coach to work with clients preparing for the CFP exam while also building toward long-term careers in financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Help clients master exam content across General Principles of Financial Planning, Insurance Planning, Investment Planning, Retirement Savings and Income Planning, Tax Planning, and Estate Planning
• Create a tailored study plan and test prep strategy to build accuracy, pacing, and confidence leading up to exam day
• Help clients apply these concepts to real career growth in financial planning, connecting technical knowledge to practical, real-world client scenarios

Requirements

• Hold the CFP certification or have passed the relevant exam
• Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience
• A clear, structured approach to breaking down complex problems while connecting them to practical application

Qualifications

• Experience working with clients preparing for the CFP exam
• Ability to create and implement study plans and test prep strategies
• Strong understanding of financial planning principles and concepts

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to break down complex financial planning concepts into understandable parts
• Proficiency in virtual session hosting
