Responsibilities
- Process all bank transactions – wires, ACH, internal bank transfers
- Prepare/maintain annual budget and present weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports
- Act as primary liaison with outside accountants for all financial matters
- Lead Finance and Accounting team
- Prepare mid-year and year-end performance review statistics
- Manage and monitor client trust/IOLTA account
- Reconcile real estate closings and apply payments from trust account
- Monitor bank accounts and balances; review monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Monthly review of income statement and balance sheet
- Manage related investment entity and investments
- Bachelor’s degree required - additional certifications a plus (MBA, CPA or CLM, for example)
- At least 7-10 plus years in law firm financial management required
- Expert proficiency in MS Office Suite & Excel required
- Familiarity with multi-state issues and PTET preferred
