Essential Duties

  • Works with CEO and Executive Team to develop the annual budget for approval by the Board of Directors.
  • Ensures the monthly financial statements and program reports are provided to the Board of Directors and leadership team in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintains processes to accurately bill and timely collect all receivables.
  • Maintains cash and investment portfolios to ensure earning appropriate returns while maintaining liquidity and debt service coverage requirements.
  • Oversees the Information Technology department to ensure IT strategies align with organizational goals and security controls are in place to protect data.
  • Participates as a member of the Executive Team.
  • Understands financial compliance for all Midland programs.

Qualifications

  • A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • At least 3 years of executive-level financial experience in healthcare finance
  • Computer proficiency
  • A valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • An active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license in the state of Kansas
  • Familiarity with Medicare and regulatory compliance
  • Executive leadership and strategic planning experience
  • Experience overseeing IT or cross-functional departments
