CFD Simulation & Analysis Engineer
Condesign is seeking a 1D & 3D CFD Simulation and Analysis Engineer to join our team as a consultant in Gothenburg. Responsibilities
- Apply deep knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer to simulate and analyze coolant and refrigerant systems.
- Utilize CAE tools (e.g., Matlab, Simulink, GT-Suite, StarCCM+) for 1D and 3D CFD simulations.
- Develop, test, and debug simulation models while taking ownership of projects.
- Analyze data and draw meaningful insights to drive engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results both individually and as part of the organization.
Requirements
- MSc/BSc in Energy Systems, Engineering Physics, Applied Mechanics, or a similar field.
- Deep knowledge and experience in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer, with insight into coolant and refrigerant systems.
- Passion for automotive systems, particularly electric vehicles and thermal components (e.g., refrigerant systems, coolant systems, electric drive components, batteries, and cabin air distribution).
- Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with CAE tools and hardware components, including development, testing, and debugging.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Valid driving license.
Skills
- Proficiency in tools such as Matlab, Simulink, GT-Suite, and StarCCM+.
