CFD Simulation & Analysis Engineer

Condesign is seeking a 1D & 3D CFD Simulation and Analysis Engineer to join our team as a consultant in Gothenburg. Responsibilities

• Apply deep knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer to simulate and analyze coolant and refrigerant systems.
• Utilize CAE tools (e.g., Matlab, Simulink, GT-Suite, StarCCM+) for 1D and 3D CFD simulations.
• Develop, test, and debug simulation models while taking ownership of projects.
• Analyze data and draw meaningful insights to drive engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results both individually and as part of the organization.

Requirements

• MSc/BSc in Energy Systems, Engineering Physics, Applied Mechanics, or a similar field.
• Deep knowledge and experience in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer, with insight into coolant and refrigerant systems.
• Passion for automotive systems, particularly electric vehicles and thermal components (e.g., refrigerant systems, coolant systems, electric drive components, batteries, and cabin air distribution).
• Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with CAE tools and hardware components, including development, testing, and debugging.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Valid driving license.

Pay
