About the role
The CFC Behavior Specialist is responsible for providing behavioral support services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior plans
- Provide direct support to individuals in their daily activities
- Conduct assessments and gather data to inform interventions
- Maintain accurate records and report progress to supervisors
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to enhance outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Skills
- Excellent observational and assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
