About the Role
Provides certified pool operator services to the University of Pittsburgh, ensuring a safe and functional pool environment. Maintains proper records for compliance with state and county requirements through water chemistry sampling, testing, and daily pool inspections. Also performs cleaning services and chemical adjustments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Test and adjust water chemistry
- Inspect the pool and equipment
- Maintain required logs
- Handle pool chemicals
- Perform filter plant duties
- Maintain and clean the pool deck
- Perform entry-level facilities maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repair work, outdoor work, and inventory
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years of relevant experience (combination of education and experience will be considered)
- PA Department of Agriculture Pesticide Operators License
- Certified Pool Operator License
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 4:30 pm - 12:30 am
