Description Of Duties/Essential Functions (MHT I)
Under immediate supervision, performs beginning level duties on a cottage in the direct care of residents, i.e., bathing, personal hygiene, heavy lifting, heavy carrying and pushing wheelchairs, assists in implementing residents’ habilitation plans.

Under direct supervision, performs journeyman level duties on a cottage in the direct care of residents, i.e., bathing, personal hygiene, heavy lifting, heavy carrying and pushing wheelchairs; implements residents’ habilitation plans
Minimum Requirements (MHT I)
- Requires a minimum of 9 months experience as a Mental Health Technician Trainee.
- Requires successful completion of the facility Mental Health Technician I Training Program.
Minimum Requirements (MHT II)
- Requires a minimum of 1 year experience as a Mental Health Technician I.
- Requires successful completion of the Facility Mental Health Technician II Training Program.
