Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

About the role

West Mountain Animal Hospital, located in Bennington, VT, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join their team. The ideal candidate should be recent graduates from an AVMA accredited program and ready to take the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE), with reimbursement available.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding client service and excellent patient care
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and uplifting hospital culture
• Collaborate with the team to enhance skills and knowledge
• Assist with a variety of services including advanced surgery, laser therapy, behavior consulting, dental treatments, and emergency services
• Work flexible hours, including openings and closings

Requirements

• Current LVT license
• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about the human-animal bond and quality of life

Pay

$19 - $23 per hour, determined based on experience and skillset

Schedule

Full-time, with a mix of opening and closing shifts. Opening shifts start at 7:30a, and closing shifts start at 11a or 12p. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday: 8a – 7p, Wednesday and Friday: 8a – 5p, Saturday: 8a – 12p.
