About the role
Pulaski Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. Our technicians play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care during surgical and dental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Carefully coordinate and execute precise treatment plans
- Prepare animals for surgery
- Assist in the operating room (OR)
- Perform dental procedures
- Maintain detailed surgical records
- Review and implement treatment plans
- Address client questions regarding their pet's care
- Work closely with the team to manage veterinarian's orders
- Maintain high standards of patient care
- Manage an efficient workflow to keep procedures on schedule
Requirements
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Wisconsin
- 3-5 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in anesthetic induction and monitoring
- Proficiency in surgical preparation and assistance
- Proficiency in dental prophy and digital radiology
- Proficiency in patient handling and restraint
- Proficiency in blood draws and IV catheter placement
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Willingness to fully utilize your skillset and license
Skills
- Knowledge of anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Experience in surgical preparation and assistance
- Proficiency in dental prophy and digital radiology
- Ability to handle and restrain patients

Pay
- $22-$24 per hour, based on hours worked
- Bonus package: $2000
- Continuing Education Allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter
