Certified Veterinary Technician

About the role

VCA Coral Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. Located in Fort Myers, FL, we serve birds, cats, dogs, pocket pets, and reptiles in Cape Coral, Sanibel, Captiva Islands, Fort Myers, and Estero, Florida. Our mission is to provide exceptional pet healthcare and foster a respectful, supportive, and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of animal care and treatment to provide compassionate patient care.
• Communicate effectively with clients to educate them about their pets' health and care needs.
• Assist with anesthesia and surgery procedures, patient assessments, radiology, dentistry, catheter placement, venipuncture, laboratory work, pharmacy management, and medical recordkeeping.

Requirements

• Credential as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or equivalent certification.
• Positive attitude and strong motivation.
• Ability to work weekends.
