Certified Veterinary Technician

About the role

VCA Carrollwood Cat Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. We are committed to providing exceptional care for cats and their owners in Tampa, Temple Terrace, Northdale, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Assist with anesthesia and surgery
• Perform radiology, dentistry, catheterization, venipuncture, laboratory work, and pharmacy duties
• Manage medical records

Requirements

• 2-5 years of in-hospital experience
• Positive attitude and motivation
• Ability to work weekends

Qualifications

• Credential as a CVT, RVT, or LVT
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with feline-specific care

Pay

$16 - $23 / hr, commensurate with experience

Schedule

Full time, with weekend rotation required
