About the role
We are relocating 8 minutes from Colorado Springs in Woodland Park (May 2026).
Responsibilities
- Providing compassionate, thorough client communication and education
- Performing patient assessments and obtaining medical histories
- Aiding in examinations and surgical procedures
- Administering and monitoring anesthesia
- Placing IV catheters and performing venipuncture
- Performing and assisting in laser therapy and acupuncture
- Performing radiographs, laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Implementing treatment plans recommended by our veterinarians
- Maintaining detailed medical records
- Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care
- Supporting smooth and efficient daily clinic operations
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree)
- Successful completion of the VTNE and eligibility for licensure
- Genuine passion for patient care and client education
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, professional attitude
- Prior Veterinary Experience (preferred)
- Ability to confidently utilize your skills while working collaboratively
