Certified Veterinary Technician

About the role

Pine City Animal Hospital is seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, properly handling and restraining animals, placing IV catheters, drawing and running bloodwork, client education, using laboratory equipment, and being a positive team player.

Requirements

• Certified Veterinary Technician, license must be current
• 1+ years of veterinary experience
• Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Experience with proper animal restraint and handling
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Positive team-player willing to continue to learn

Pay

$20/hr based on experience and work ethic

Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Saturday Rotation: Every third Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
