About the role
Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and therapy. Ensures proper technique and positioning based on radiologic principles to achieve optimal results. Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols. Completes documentation to meet policies and maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition. Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality patient care. Fulfills assigned goals and duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Recent Sonographer experience preferred.
- Registered by ARDMS and/or RVT, or a new graduate awaiting registry; proof required within 120 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire.
Skills
- Basic computer literacy skills.
