About the role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments aligned with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Completes additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Applies a thorough understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning for optimal procedure outcomes.
• Develops and implements appropriate procedure or treatment plans following hospital protocols.
• Documents procedures accurately to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.
• Achieves assigned goals effectively.

Qualifications

Experience

Recent experience as a Sonographer preferred.

Education

Registered by ARDMS or RVT, or a new graduate awaiting registry, with proof required within 120 days. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire.

Skills & Certifications

Basic computer literacy. Licensure including registry (ARDMS or RVT), BLS, or pending registration for new graduates.
