Certified Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform inspections on vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Repair or replace worn or damaged parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all services, repairs, and inspections.
• Collaborate with service managers and other technicians to resolve repair issues and improve workflow.
• Stay updated on industry trends and repair techniques.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and clean work environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Heavy Duty Technician (or equivalent).
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in heavy-duty truck repair and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, braking systems, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and computer-based tools.
• Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
