Responsibilities

  • Plans for surgical procedures by assembling instrumentation, equipment, and necessary supplies.
  • Maintains the integrity of the sterile field by utilizing knowledge of aseptic technique.
  • Affords assistance to surgeon and physician assistant (PA) with activities at the sterile field.
  • Participates and engages in center activities.
  • Functions as a leader for surgical team.
  • Performs sterilization of equipment.
  • Affords assistance in maintaining a clean and safe surgical environment.
  • Proactively plans and participates in requirements for surgical cases.
  • Helps to contain supply costs.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited surgical technologist program.
  • Certification required to obtain: Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire.
  • Medical Technician - NH Board of Registration of Medical Technicians certification.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience as a surgical technologist.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 4 10-hour shifts.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay

The pay for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
