Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room - Kokomo

About the role

Join Community Health Network, a healthcare provider serving the Kokomo, IN area. This position is based in the main Operating Room and involves scrubbing on various surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and anticipate needs during surgical procedures
• Follow sterile and aseptic techniques

Requirements

• Graduation from a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited Surgical Technology program OR graduation from an NCCT-authorized school with completion of a GED or high school diploma. Associate degree preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification from the NBSTSA required within six months of hire.
• 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task with a high degree of responsibility and responsiveness
• Takes direction well but also self-directed and motivated
