Certified Surgical Tech

$5,000 sign-on bonus for certified candidates with 2 years of experience (internal applicants and RUSH transfers are not eligible).

About the Role

Functions as the member of the surgical team who assists the surgeon, anesthesiologist/anesthetist, and RN in delivering direct patient care during the entire preoperative experience. Acts as the primary scrub person or first assistant during the operative procedure.

Requirements

• Graduate of a program of surgical technology of at least one year duration
• Certification by the Association of Operating Room Technicians
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Ability to function in emergency situations
• Ability to take call as assigned and respond within 30 minutes

Pay

RUSH salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry-specific market data.
