Position Summary
Functions in the first assistant and second assistant role, under the direction of the surgeon. Sustains a high level of patient care by addressing the physical, social and educational needs of the patient. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Previous OR Experience
- Licensure: Current certification as a certified surgical first assistant or 3 years in a surgical assistant role
