About the role

Provide compassionate and evidence-based counseling services to individuals struggling with substance abuse issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment sessions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Current license as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or eligibility to become one
• Experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) exam
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in substance abuse treatment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
