About the role
Inspected, assembled, and verified the completeness of complex surgical instrument sets, identifying repair or replacement needs to ensure top-tier quality and facilitate effective sterilization.
Operated advanced sterilization equipment and meticulously inspected instruments, containers, and machinery to guarantee total cleanliness, strict safety compliance, and proper functioning.
Performed rigorous decontamination of soiled surgical instruments and equipment in strict accordance with Instructions for Use (IFUs) and established facility protocols.
Managed and corrected instrument sets utilizing tracking systems and count sheets, while maintaining optimal inventory levels to ensure seamless case cart availability.
Conducted regular quality assurance program audits of peers to maintain high departmental standards, compliance, and procedural accuracy.

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required: Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Preferences
- 2+ years Sterile Processing experience
- Credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or CBSPD
