About the role
This full-time position is under the Richland Education Association's Collective Bargaining Agreement, with the starting salary negotiable based on experience and exceptional circumstances in accordance with Board Policy 304.1-Credit for Salary Placement.
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling services to students, families, and staff.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate functional behavior assessment and positive behavior & intervention programs.
- Train and support teachers and staff in implementing school counseling programs.
- Collect and analyze student data, including curriculum-based assessments, and implement progress monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with other school personnel to ensure the academic success and social-emotional well-being of all students.
Requirements
- Hold a Pennsylvania certificate as a School counselor.
- Minimum requirement of an Elementary School Counselor certification.
- Additional certifications, knowledge in using technology, organizational skills, and commitment to task completion are desired.
Qualifications
- Training and experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating functional behavior assessment and positive behavior & intervention programs.
- Training and experience in collecting and analyzing student data, including curriculum-based assessments, and implementing progress monitoring systems.

Pay
