Certified Respiratory Therapist

About the Role

Provides specialized respiratory care to patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and monitoring treatment and equipment. Evaluates patient outcomes, administers medications, and performs advanced respiratory modalities. Educates patients and families about health conditions and available support resources. Assists with equipment maintenance, inventory management, and sterilization procedures. Responds to emergency resuscitation calls.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist and Certified Respiratory Therapist credentials from the NBRC are required
• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
