Certified Respiratory Therapist

Role Overview This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care utilizing critical thinking skills developed through education and experience. A Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) demonstrates competence by passing NBRC examinations and applying expertise to patient care. Key Responsibilities Assess and develop individualized care plans for patientsImplement and evaluate treatment strategiesAdminister prescribed medicationsEducate patients, families, and caregivers about health managementParticipate in initiatives aimed at improving healthcare deliveryCollaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare team membersProvide clinical leadership and support ongoing learningAchieve assigned goals and contribute to team efforts Qualifications & Skills Current state license and CRT credentialRecent clinical respiratory care experience in hospital, home care, or skilled nursing settingsBasic computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office; experience with EPIC and DME devices is preferredCPR/BLS certification within two weeks of hireSuccessful completion of entry-level respiratory therapist exam; ABG endorsement if applicable
