Position Highlights

• Sign on bonus options available: $25,000, $35,000, or $50,000
• Neuraxial anesthesia (Epidural/spinal)
• Regional anesthesia peripheral nerve blocks
• PICC/Midline insertion
• Ultrasound
• Obstetrics anesthesia
• Option for interventional pain management clinic
• 2 weeks on then 1 week off
• 1st week: 24hr call Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• 2nd week: 24hr call Tuesday/Thursday
• Call required and split equally among group of 3 CRNAs

About the Role

Cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management.

Responsibilities

• Performs a pre-operative patient assessment.
• Determines a plan of care and communicating the plan of care to patient and family.
• Establishes and maintains essential venous access.
• Ensures establishment and maintenance of airway.
• Responsible for inducting, maintaining the anesthesia, and proper monitoring.
• Responsible for completing the anesthesia and the emergence from anesthesia.
• Transfers care to appropriate staff at termination of procedure.
• Performs post-operative follow-up for each case performed.
• Perform as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students.

Requirements

• The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
• Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
• Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Board of Nursing: An active license in the state of practice upon hire.
• Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing: An active license in the state of practice upon hire.
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) upon hire.
