About the role
Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) responsible for providing anesthesia care across various patient acuity levels and settings.
Responsibilities
- Performing pre-operative patient assessments and developing care plans
- Establishing and maintaining venous access and airway management
- Inducing, maintaining, and monitoring anesthesia during procedures
- Managing anesthesia emergence and transferring patient care post-procedure
- Conducting post-operative follow-up and serving as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students
Qualifications
- Active RN and CRNA licenses in the practicing state
- Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Ability to perform essential functions, including effective communication and visual acuity
Skills
- Commitment to compassion, professionalism, and teamwork
- Adherence to safety regulations and standards (CMS, OSHA, The Joint Commission)
- Effective communication, confidentiality, and responsiveness
Schedule
- Primarily daytime work with on-call responsibilities during nights, weekends, and holidays
