Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Summary
Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic patient assessments, including review of medical history, laboratory data, and diagnostic studies. Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
Administer general, regional, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and sedation as appropriate. Monitor patients throughout anesthesia administration and respond to changes in patient condition. Manage patient airways using appropriate techniques and equipment. Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation. Provide post-anesthesia evaluation and management, including pain control and patient recovery. Respond to emergency situations requiring advanced airway management and resuscitation.
Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and departmental initiatives. Comply with all hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and mandatory training. Maintain licensure, certification, and clinical competency requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Licensed RN in state of NY.
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Board certification required.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross and ACLS certification are required.

- Work Days: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
