Certified/Registered Medical Assistant

About the role

Responsible for providing comprehensive medical support to patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Duties include assisting with patient examinations, administering medications, maintaining medical records, and ensuring patient comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient examinations and record patient histories
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality
• Provide patient education on health management and preventive care
• Ensure patient comfort during procedures and consultations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
