Certified Professional Coder Per Diem
Bertrand Chaffee Hospital is searching for a Per Diem Certified Professional Coder to join our team in Springville, NY. All candidates must have substantial experience and require minimal training.
About the role
Our Certified Medical Coders (CPC) provide quality review and analysis of a wide range of patient medical records, ensuring accuracy of coding and maintaining records in accordance with accepted medical and legal standards. Code cases utilizing ICD-10 CM classification systems. Code outpatient and specialty services in an accurate and productive manner according to Federal, State, American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and hospital guidelines. Must be willing to work outside of traditional scope of activities when necessary to support department or hospital functions and when qualified to do so.
Schedule
Per Diem staff will work a flexible schedule 100% on-site that meets performance expectations.
Pay
$23.49 - $25.32 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- Must hold and maintain current Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
