Bingham Mechanical, Inc. is looking for a skilled and certified Pipe Welder to join their team in Idaho Falls, ID. This role involves performing precise welding on high-pressure piping systems according to industry codes and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality pipe welding using various techniques (TIG, MIG, Stick) on carbon and stainless steel.
• Interpret blueprints and welding procedures with precision.
• Conduct visual inspections and adhere to all relevant codes and safety practices.
• Collaborate with plumbers, foremen, and project managers to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain welding certifications and participate in ongoing safety and training programs.
• Ensure all welds meet quality standards with minimal need for rework.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified pipe welder.
• Proficient in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on various pipe materials.
• Current welding certifications (ASME, AWS preferred).
• Strong understanding of pipe fitting, layout, and fabrication.
• Able to work both independently and in team settings.
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should possess the minimum 2 years of experience as a certified pipe welder, proficiency in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding, current welding certifications, strong understanding of pipe fitting, layout, and fabrication, ability to work both independently and in team settings, and strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
