About the Role

The Certified Physician Assistant will support multiple shifts of occupational health operations in the Newport News Shipbuilding onsite clinic.

Responsibilities

• Work with a dedicated healthcare team, including physicians, nurses and medical assistants, to provide compassionate acute occupational medicine care to the workforce.
• Utilize clinical skills to diagnose and treat injured workers, make fitness-for-duty determinations, and assign appropriate work restrictions.
• Collaborate with the health and safety teams on medical and health policies to promote a safe and healthy work environment for our workforce, and reduce injuries.

Requirements

• Must have 3-5 years of PA experience.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and a licensed Physician Assistant and be NCCPA certified.

Pay

$94,000.00 to $118,000.00
