Responsibilities

• Deliver care following physical therapy plans of care, ensuring compliance with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Kansas physical therapy practice act.
• Provide direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promote physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in physical therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Kansas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Valid driver’s license with an original driving record that shows no DUIs, speeding tickets, or accidents within the past two years.
• One year of driving experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office.
